These days I lead AI efforts at Ernst and Young, the large professional services firm (Big 4).

I focus on developing great product experiences using AI, and I mostly work on Generative AI. I like to combine research (LLM, CoT reasoning, intelligent agents, etc) with Responsible AI (governance, compliance, ethics) and product management to drive great impact for people.

  • In the 2010s, I led innovation and product strategy at eBay. As people who work at eBay can tell you, there are many user segments, many verticals, and it’s a marketplace. This leads to a nice challenge in order to drive growth carefully horizontally and vertically.
  • Before that, I founded, scaled, and led the Product Design team at Skype. We shipped video calling, telephony plans, and simplified the user experience which helped us scale from single digit millions to 100s of millions of people.
  • I studied CS at MIT and did my PhD at Berkeley. I was also one of the early engineers at Oracle. And I’ve also worked at Apple’s Advanced Technologies Group in Cupertino, in particular the folks at the SK8 Lab.
